Building your genes on the BioXp™ machine begins with ordering your custom BioXp™ Reagents. Once you have identified the sequence you wish to build, simply upload a FASTA file containing your sequences to the SGI-DNA secure website, select the product type or application you would like and follow the prompts. The BioXp™ 3200 System reagents are built to your needs.
To begin the BioXp™ run, simply load your custom reagents onto the BioXp™ 3200 deck according to the deck map included with your order. The BioXp™ instrument will connect with the cloud to pull the optimized protocol and will prompt you to begin the application run.
DNA assembly runs generally take 12 – 17 hours depending on your constructs and are ready for downstream processing.

The BioXp™ NGS Library Construction Kit allows you to automate your plasmid or genomic DNA preparation for Next Generation Sequencing. This kit is available in 8 or 16 reaction samples and includes both purification beads and barcodes. A capacity of up to 32 genes of 400 bp to 1.8 kb can be assembled on the BioXp™ System which includes one positive control. DNA fragments provided in 45 µl of TE and are ready for cloning, off-line sequencing and further assembly into larger constructs. Additional genomic applications are in development and will work with the existing hardware on the system.
